Guy Senior Pictures | Rampart High School

There is an awesome moment during every guy senior pictures session that I anticipate and wait for. When it happens I always hope that I have my camera ready because  it’s  that time that it hits the boys that they are really having a good time and they are not just here doing this for their parents.   I can see it when the tide turns. They may not say it, but you can see it in their face and body language, it says: “this doesn’t suck as much as I thought it would.”  I’m half kidding. We know that most of our boys have not grown up dreaming of the day they could be a model for the day ( unlike their female counterparts) It’s very natural to feel this way because besides the selfies all the kids take, they most likely have not been in front of the camera professionally since they were quite small. My suggestion for any of our guys is to bring a friend to the session.  Of course bring your parents or even a sibling.

 

Jacob came to his session with his dad. He was super laid back and quiet. We did his photos at Garden of the Gods and Rock Ledge Ranch.  It was great showing him and his dad his photos and getting his reaction and he loved his photos! That is also my favorite part, which they see themselves and enjoy how they look. Self-esteem is important for all ages, but especially to a teen. It was truly a pleasure Jacob!
