Colorado Springs | Retro Pin-up Fantasy Glamour & Romantic Boudoir Photography Session | Ms. P
Ms. P came in for an all-around sexy shoot. We did a little vintage pin-up, fantasy glamour, and romantic boudoir. All of these looks are all achieved by great hair, makeup and of course wonderful styling. Ms. P brought some of her own clothing and I made the tulle skirt and flower crown. The wonderful makeup artist that I work with, Kim also brought the awesome vintage coat.
If you have ever wondered about Pin-up, it came known as such around 1941 when the gorgeous ladies were “pinned up.” Lovely women could be cut out of magazines or newspapers and their photos many times were also painted on the sides of American planes in the war. Men now are also considered pin-ups but, called beefcake models. Pin-up has a wonderful history and also has it place in museums. Look it up! So interesting to learn the art side of it.
What about fantasy glamour? Ever dreamed of dressing up like a princess? Not just as a little girl but, as a grown woman? It is not the glamour photography of the 1980’s. The modern glamour of today is contemporary and showcases every woman’s beautiful form. If you are ever want beautiful portraits of yourself but, not fully comfortable with boudoir then you should totally consider a glamour session! Yes, I do have some wardrobe for these sessions!
Ah boudoir! Something I still believe all women should do. It is empowering and you will leave feeling amazing. It will also let you see yourself in a whole new light. Women self-criticize all the time. Maybe society, maybe their own lack of self-worth from some bully they knew years ago or a bad relationship but, I see it all the time. When you see yourself in these photos, you will love yourself on the outside. You should already love who you are on the inside 😉
Want to mix up your session like this? I’m all for it. Let’s talk.
We love how our Ms. P’s beauty is only enhanced by the retro, glamour and romantic feel, all the while showcasing her fun personality shining through!
