Colorado Springs engagement shoot

What is there not to love about a proposal, let alone a surprise proposal?! Well, have I  got one for you! Taylor and Katie recently visited us here in Colorado Springs for a friend’s wedding.  They had spent the day visiting tourist locations around our city and then were set to go to dinner. This gorgeous couple headed up to the Mesa Overlook at Garden of the Gods to take in the view. Little did Katie know that it would lead to their very own Colorado Springs engagement shoot!

Then within moments, he was down on one knee telling Katie how much he loves her and asking if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Of course she said yes!! I was pretending to be a tourist taking photos of Pikes Peak and snuck in Taylor down on his knee. After the tears and hugs, I came over and we took time for their once-in-a-lifetime engagement shoot. The weather was perfect and their love warmed my heart.  I loved their session so much!
