I’d hoped they would look pretty good, but really thought I would end up looking like a fatty. I couldn’t believe it when I saw them! Seriously! Way better than I had imagined and hoped for! Definitely have my business and I have referred you to friends. You are so talented. Thank you, thank you!”
Now, let me just say that she is not a “fatty” and I told her when she was in the studio that she was body shaming herself. Rule in the studio: No body shaming yourself or anyone else! What I saw the second she walked in the studio, without a stitch of makeup and hair unstyled, she looked amazingly beautiful. She also had a contagious laugh and was extremely personable.
She was nervous of course, almost everyone is. As the boudoir shoot progressed she had more and more fun but, there was the undercurrent of some self-esteem issues.
Beauty though my friends, is a state of mind. If you feel beautiful then you will put forth to the world that you are beautiful. Beauty comes from the inside. If you do not feel beautiful then you will struggle with confidence, self-esteem and self-acceptance.
And what do you know: Mrs. K cried when she saw her photos. She was so happy with how SHE saw herself. What’s more is her husband whom this was originally a gift for sent over a comment to me on Instagram that said: “Thank you. She is so beautiful and sexy. All the photos you took of her turned out amazing. This was a wonderful gift you helped my wife put together. Very impressed with your work. I might be biased but, we both really like all of her photos.”
