Briarhurst Manor Wedding |Manitou Springs | Alice & Jeff

Alice and Jeff enjoyed the wonderful setting of one of our favorite wedding venues for their big day over Memorial Day weekend, the Briarhurst Manor. We all know we have had almost a full month of rain in May here in Colorado, but that did not hamper the smiles of this beautiful couple and their lovely family on their wedding day. Alice looked just glorious in her gown which was Jeff saw for the very first time during their first look outside the front steps of the Briarhurst Manor.

It was a beautiful moment during the signing of the ketubah. The ketubah/marriage contract is traditional in Jewish weddings and is a really poignant moment. I loved when Jeff kissed Alice on the shoulder when it became official for them, so very romantic!

We were lucky to have a very patient, willing and laid back couple who were up for some direction as we did deal with some rain and mud. Pivoting and moving in another direction to get great photos makes for a greater experience for everyone and we were so glad that these two were comfortable with that!
