A Beautiful Winter Wedding at The Briarhurst Manor
Leslie was hoping for a winter wonderland wedding in December. Although we didn’t get much snow, we did have some and we had fun with what we had! It all added up to a beautiful winter wedding at the Briarhurst Manor. She was determined to be outside no matter what stating: “Wear parkas and gloves because we are doing photos outside!” We were fine with that! We played in the snow, made hearts in the snow, and there was just enough to create very pretty romantic wedding portraits. The Briarhurst has some wonderful places indoors as well for beautiful photography.
In winter the sun sets much earlier and Josh and Leslie did a first look to do their photos before the ceremony and that did not keep the emotion and tears from springing up during the ceremony itself. It was very touching and beautiful with the traditional signing of the Ketubah.
The fun began at the reception with Springs Sounds as the master of ceremonies. Leslie and Josh were wonderful swing dancers as were many of their guests! Leslie and her dad had practiced a special dance which ended with him handing Leslie to Josh. It was very sweet and a special time between the two of them. There was tons of smiles and fun at this wedding which is how it should be. Please enjoy their slide show as I enjoyed putting it together for them. Congratulations Leslie and Josh! Have a wonderful life together.
